Shift lenses for architectural photogarphy are notoriously expensive, the optics to cover the larger effective area are complex items. A pinhole has no such problems and by making a simple ( light tight) sliding front panel a good result may be achieved in this simple diy camera
The two images shown to the right indicate just how much correction can be obtained with simple design. For both shots the camera was set precisely horizontal using the integral bubble level.
